I was doing some beginners lessons a few months ago, but I've been too busy with assignments that I haven't organized something in awhile.

I am a native English speaker and work as an independent photographer/video producer.

If enough people are interested I could put together another class.

My site: http://jessejmorgan.com/

Contact me via e-mail if you are interested: jessejmorgan@gmail.com

I'd be interested, as well :)  Mostly if the course language is English.

My course would be in English (native English, hope you don't mind a Canadian accent).

The last one I did had about 10 people in it, but I think a half-dozen would be enough.

I was thinking A Sunday would be good, as nothing much is happening that day anyway.

I travel a fair bit with work and I am in town this Sunday.  I have no idea if that's too short notice for people.  If there are enough people interested I will post something formal with cost, course details and start time etc.

What do you think?

I think great =)

I can try to broadcast this in the forum, but i`m sure if you post as activity, lots of people will be interested. in the worst case, if only a handful gets interested, u just drop it. Well, we are already 4 only in this forum =)

Ahhhh, only one thing Jesse. I DONT have a pro camera (i`m buying one only after getting some knowledge). Is this a problem, having a small/normal digital one???

Yes, it's best to learn by doing.  You won't get much out of the course without having a DSLR.

You can private message me if you want some purchasing advice.

I have had a Sigma DP2, DSLR fixed lens, for half a year. Not a beginner's camera, as it turned out, but it can take great pics and will fit in the coat pocket. Only the autofocus leaves everything to be desired, so manual settings become vital for good pics.. which is why I'm here ;)

Ok photo-enthusiasts!  I have posted the first course date (This Sunday) in the commerical events catagory.  Here is a link: http://www.glocals.com/#/things-to-do/geneva/26099.htm

I will be adding more dates soon, but I am travelling the weekend after that so I thought I'd see if this Sunday will work for people.

The World Village Association is currently planning a photography class with a high calibre artist.
Have a look for what Yoshi Shimizu does (http://yoshi-shimizu.com).

The course is planned to start around late spring and we plan to have an exhibition at the end of the course showing the results. The course will provide for both beginners and advanced.

World Village is a non profit association with the goal to

"Enhance social life and promoting cultural exchange and creativity through music, dance and visual arts "

For more info about World Village please check www.worldvillage.eu and if you are interested in the course please feel free to drop me a note
