Restaurants open Sunday evening

Can anyone suggest a reasonable restaurant that's open Sunday evening (not a hamburger or pizza joint).  I have visitors flying in and can't think of anywhere that's open.

Preferably within a 10-minute drive (in any direction) from the station or, if possible, within walking distance.

Thanks v. much.

Have you already been to Via Roma In Carouge? It's a nice Italien restaurant.

It's open on Sundays.

Nothing very original, but visitors might enjoy Brasserie Lipp or Café du centre, both are open on sunday, and not so far from the station. By car café du centre is probably a bit easier to go, as you got the parking du molard very close.

Sunday evenings are a bit tricky, as I'm sure you're aware.

For the best pizza of Geneva (according to many), Da Paolo in Eaux-Vives is open on Sundays. They don't take reservations so get there early or expect to be in a queue for a while.

A decent alternative nearby Da Paolo is Pizzeria San Marco, at the crossing of Rue de lai Mairie and Rue Zurlinden.

For Chinese, the Chinese restaurant in hotel Kempinski is an option. Also overpriced, but the food is excellent.

I'm pretty sure Lacustre at the Mont Blanc bridge is open, if you fancy overpriced Italian food. But its main feature, the terrace, is a bit useless in winter.

The glazed terrace (known as the ‘Verrandah’) of the Montbrillant Hotel –

which is located  behind
Cornavin railway station, near the departure for France area – offers a variety of dishes with an emphasis on traditional French style.  The service is attentive and the prices are reasonable.

Go for open wine though if price is a factor.  It’s also a nice place for a girls’ only meal.  Best to book ahead if you can.

Bon app!

I think aubage de savoiuse on rue de paquis is open sunday, good for fondue.  There is also the Italian on the corner of Rue de paquis and rue de montruox, which only has a small pizza menu, it has fondue (cheese and meat), pasta, meat etc etc quite an extensive menu.

Of course manyana (maybe spelt wrong) the mexican oposite the train station.  Good mexican food, close to station and great strawberry margeritas.
