Hi there!

Hope someone can help me. I am leaving Switzerland for 2 years, and decided to sublet my apartment in Geneva to friends (clearly at same price I am paying). I made written request to the Regie which rejected it, stating that they cannot accept sublet where the principal landlord is not residing in Switzerland?!

Does any of you know if this is true? It sounds really weird to me, and I am going to get advice from ASLOCA, but would sincerely appreciate some feedback :)
