Hi,
I am new to Geneva and would like to find or start a group to play either tag or tip rugby.
Anyone out there interested? We can then talk about time and place.

Salut Jean-Camille,
I'd lile to play before summertime, but then am away most week-ends, it would be great to find somewhere floodlit, in town and another 8-10 people.
If you know of anyone interested, tags and shorts are easy to get hold of, so please let me know.
Bonne fin de journée,
Michael

Hello,
we have a group that play every saturday morning at 10... and sometimes we do extra fitness training before the game... we have 2 balls and some cones..
its all for fun. and most of the players are just beginners.. we have been doing this since march last year (2013)..
but nowadays, some of us are not happy with the weather. but every saturday, there are at least 3-6 people coming..
its free and for fun..
if you want to join.. message me and will let u know on the details.

Hi there,
Any Saturday I am around (e.g. not this one but the next), I'd be up for it, for sure.
Where do you train then? Do I need tag shorts?
Thanks!
Mike

Hi
I'd also be keen to join weekday evenings games (any except Wednesday), a buddy of mine is also keen so I count at least 6 so far on this thread plus us 2?
One option might be Vernier soccer club which has floodlit pitches.

Does anyone have a rugby ball? Maybe we could just organise a meet up or start a Glocals Touch rugby group for weekdays and see if others join? I can manage any day except Tuesdays as I just started playing hockey on Tuesdays!

So, Mondays, then? I am personally slowly recovering from a sciatica and cannot do Monday or the next due to holidays, but any time after that is cool. And I can bring back a rugby ball by then, for sure.

Hi guys,
Is there still an opportunity to play touch rugby? I am a 16 year old with past experience in the sport and I'd really like to play again!
Please do let me know!

Hi guys,
I am in Geneva since 2011, and I experienced touch rugby in Paris a few years ago (with a great club - Free Touch - that made a lot to promote this sport). It was a lot of fun and I would like to play again in Geneva, possibly on a regular basis.
Is there anything going on at Parc Bertrand (or elsewhere) in the coming weeks?
Many thanks!
Jérôme

Dear all on this thread.
My name is Mike Elliott.
I have just moved back to Geneva after living in Basel for 5 years. I have played in the Swiss National touch team since 2008.
Theres seems to be a lot of interest in Geneva, but there is no formal club so I am setting up "Geneva Touch Club"
the ideas is to bring pinterested players in the Geneva region together and organise a regular weekly run in Geneva with proper games, marked fields and refs, and also arrange some matches against the other touch clubs in Switzerland (Zurich, Lausanne, Basel) and enter some tournaments.
The field I have earmarked is Parc Sarasin in Grand Saconnex (easy to get to with public transport + car parking)
During the winter, I suggest a regular run on a Sunday afternoon from 3 - 5pm. The first run will be as soon as we have enough players on the mailing list.
If you are interested could yousend me your email address to [email protected] and I will add you to the mailing list.
In 2015, the idea will be to play regularly on a weeknight (to be determined) from April to September)
Please pass this on to anyone else who may be interested.
Regards,
Mike
