Where can I find a whole sauerkraut cabbage?

Or at least, sauerkraut leaves?

I am thinking especially of you Hungarians and other people from Eastern Europe. Smile

It's for the orthodox Christmas Eve meal: no animal products on the table, and I would like to make stuffed cabbage-in-brine leaves (not sure what it's called in English).

PS. One leaf, two leafs? or One leaf, two leaves?

Whole sauerkraut leaves! I have never heard of that. I thought sauerkraut was shredded white cabbage cooked in a brine/vinegar solution. Maybe this is an Eastern block speciality.

You don't mean vine leaves?

Thanks Charlie for the address, I'll try it (and it's in Servette, not Grand Saconnex, according to what you say).

No Colette D I did not mean vine leaves although it's a fairly similar recipe. And it's definitely not the common choucroute. I am looking for a a whole cabbage set in brine.

Lebanese also do this recipe.
