Where to go sledding with young kids?

My family is searching for some sledding/snowman building places very close-by to Geneva.  In poking around online, I found some references to sledding on the Saleve, and also St Cergue.

Has anyone been to these places, and have some details?  Especially Saleve - where in particular do you go?  It would be great to be able to go somewhere very close by!

thanks,

Sylvia

At Saleve people sledge next to the road and parking spaces just before the road from Le Coin reaches La croisette. Pretty convenient. Last weekend there was just enough snow for sleding but too little for skiing for example.

FYI - using public transport only, you can go to La Givrine, taking the train from Nyon.  We did that yesterday, they have a little shop right next to the train stop where you can rent sleds and other winter sports gear such as snowshoes and cross country ski gear.  Here's a link: http://www.nyon-tourisme.ch/en/themes/sledging-858-0.

If you don't want to go all the way up to Col de la Faucille, you can go on the Mt Mourex (between Divonne and Gex) IF there is enough snow.
