It IS winter wonderland - I am "snowed in" - still no winter tires and the garages are now laughing at me :-)

Thank god I could spend the day decorating and watch old movies...

My boy woke up early today and decided we MUST go to Yatouland, which is way out in the sticks. Being the stern dad that I am, I agreed after he cried for 10 seconds. We got in the car, and after 50 meters turned back home. It was just impossible to drive safely this morning!

It got a bit better in the afternoon: the snow didn't stop, but the major roads were atleast mostly cleared out already. 

I have the winter tires IN my car but had the controle technique this week so wanted to make sure they were good for another season before changing - big mistake apparantly!
