Dear all,

last night 'somebody' drove into my Volvo car parked in rue Perre Fatio (Rive).

Snow helping -I guess- this 'somebody' smashed my door and surrounding and than thought wiser to leave without leaving any note.

I know this is a desperate call in the wild, but given this is the biggest (and friendliest) community of the Canton et Republique de Geneve, could anybody in here help me find the 'somebody' in question, so that we can make his/her insurance deserve the yearly fee he/she's paying them?

If the 'somebody' is a friendly friend in Glocals, please let me know. I promise I only would like your insurance to make their job and pay.Not fighting included.

I saw the whole thing Stef - it was a guy on a motorcycle dressed in a red suit.

I even got a photo.

shit Stefo, that's annoying. But I heard that in situations like this your insurance covers the damage and doesn't increase your premium. Hope that^'s true.

This may be a ridiculously long shot however, I will post it any way.

There are probably surveillance cameras in that area that are run by the City and/or Canton. If you know the approximate time, you might try asking the police if they have any footage. They will probably tell you to where to go and not in a nice way.... but at least you can say you tried...and report your efforts to the insurance company...

In case there are shops in the area where your car was parked you might also ask the owners or the security guards to check the records of their security cameras for that particular date.
