You could try and find a "boite a fringues" near your location.

I think the Salvation Army (Armée du Salut) could be interested, but it might be best to call them first to discuss collection arrangements, etc.

Usually the electronics shops like Media Markt take those, but you have to bring them to the shop.

It's several years ago, before they moved, but La Renfile (Centre Social Protestant) took very gladly my last printer when I changed models.
I took it round and saw they had several other computer related things, hifis etc. 
They are a little further out now, in the lower part of the Industrial Zone in Meyrin/Satigny.
There is another one in Plan-les Ouates
Good idea to call them to enquire and about eventual collection if you have not a car.

There  is also  a Caritas  behind La  Renfile in Plan-les-Ouates where you could enquire and you can access it by a path from La Renfile.
