If I were you, I would take it over the border to France where it is likely to be less expensive. We have an excellent jeweller/repairer in the centre of Evian here, but probably this is too far for you?

Appologies for the late reply. I do not purchase second hand itmes but I do love antique and estate jewllery. Selling  used jewellery ususally means that it will be destroyed and melted down for scrap these days and that is a practice that I do not adhear to. Too sad.  I am sure that many places in Geneva would do it though. Best of luck. Hélène
