had some recent noise damage to my ears, want to get them checked out.
anybody know any good ear specialists? preferably in center of town or around the train station area (rive droite).
seeing as i don't have a car i think i would like to avoid doctors far from center (meyrin, chene-bourg etc) and in France

Last year I went to see Dr Buvelot (Boulevard des Philosophes 7) for an ear problem - nice and very gentle even with the not so nice examinations. He's on holiday until next week I think. I got an appointment within 24 hours.

This sounds like a tinnitus and the best treatment I got here was at the HUG. Unfortunately my doc just left but he is replaced by

Sorry, I misread: You talk about an acoustic trauma. But again: The HUG hospital should be best equipped for that and they really try a lot of things to help you.

Just called to make an appointment and the receptionist does not speak English.

Try to get there email address send email and google translate. If you go to the office ask to type your message in computer that's what we did at the dentist.
