I am looking for affordable accommodation within easy distance of public transport. I am thinking of treating my sister to a little trip away ;o)

Hi Kellie,
If you are willing to go down the French Riviera a little bit, I can offer you a 1-bedroom apartment in Cannes.
It sleeps up to 4 people and is right in the centre (rue d'Antibes) which is great for getting to the Croisette beachfront, the shops and the restaurants.
No car needed - you can get the express bus from Nice airport to the centre of Cannes station which is a 10 minute walk away from the flat.

I have had a number of requests for further details so here goes:
Short breaks in Cannes, French Riviera - 1 bed apartment
A modern, recently refurbished 2nd floor apartment with South-facing balcony in the heart of Cannes on the Rue d'Antibes.
200 metres from the Croisette and beaches, 15 minute walk to the Palais des Festivals.
Sleeps up to 4, 1 double bedroom, 1 quality double sofa bed in lounge,
Open plan kitchen/dining area/lounge opening onto a South-facing balcony with table and chairs.
Bathroom with walk-in shower, separate WC, loggia with view of garden to the rear, secure parking space in underground garage.
A/C, heating, internet access, WIFI, flat-screen TV with international channels.
Weekends are possible outside of the peak Summer season.
From €540/week (low season) to €750/week (high season).
