Meteor Shower

Hey everyone, the weatherman says that it will be relatively clear in the early morning tomorrow and on Tuesday. So welcome the spring with the Lyrid meteor shower which is peaking tonight.

Best viewing time 4-5 am. (After moonset)

Viewing direction: North east, in the Lyra constellation.

Happy star gazing

Cheers

you want to see a meteor shower you say? well, you have to come to our yearly event mid august for the most spectacular meteor shower.

we have a picnic with food and drink, and spend the entire night under the stars just gazing up into the sky. we see the occasional fireball ( like the one that landed in russia ) and even without alcohol, there is a state of euphoria among the participants. 50 - 100 people show up, and it is held at the Migros park above rolle and aubonne. a large grassy field with no lights, ideal for this event.
