Pilates classes on English

I have tried to follow a class in French but have found that the teacher does not explain things very clearly and,as Englsh is not my first language,this makes it rather difficult.Also,as all the other people in the class are Swiss,even when they obviously don't know precisely what to do( and this is clear from looking around me!) they never ask.......and I am the awkward foreigner who is always asking the questions!


I am finding thus very unsatisfactory so am now looking for an English - speaking Pilates teacher,Or at least a teacher who makes sure that people understand what they are doing.Anyone able to help?

Yes, there is an English pilates class held in Marin every Monday morning. The whole of the exercises are explained by qualified English pilates teachers. The cost is also very reasonable. Now...........where on earth is Marin I hear you say. Well, that's the problem.


It is between Thonon and Evian but in case you are free, please PM me and I can put you in touch with the teacher[s]. Everyone who attends is either English mother-tongue or very fluent, so you would not have any problem.


Is it worth coming? Only you can decide.

yeah Marin sounds a bit too unfamiliar :D

however, I have found a centre in Lausanne with a teacher who speaks good English ! For those interested, look up Studio Bast or  " espace bien être Bast" . Prices are reasonable and people are really nice)
