Does anyone know a good, affordable and romantic restaurant in lausanne? It's my boyfriends birthday and I wanted to take him to a nice place.

Au Chat Noir is good. It is a small neighbourhood restaurant, reservation needed. Expect to spend about 50 CHF.person for food + a glass of wine.
Cafe grancy has really good food but maybe not as romantic. It is my favorite place though. Reservation needed.

I am not sure there are affordable restaurants in Lausanne, but I would advise this one:

They are not really romantic, but interesting food and more afordable than average:
- café des avenues;
- les trois rois;
- café d'avenir.
