World Cup Rugby in Montreux/Vevey area

Does anyone know where in the Montreux/Vevey area I can go to watch the WCRugby matches?  I don't want to repeat last Sunday's experience of driving between Villeneuve and Vevey for 70 minutes stopping at every hotel and pub to ask before finally driving home and watching the match tracker on the PC.  Montreux Palace: "We have rooms available, sir". Thanks.

Hi Tony,

Am  not sure, but you could try the "Jazz Cafe"(http://maps.google.ch/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Montreux&aq=0&sll=46.362093,9.036255&sspn=4.230655,9.876709&vpsrc=6&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Montreux,+Vaud&ll=46.431966,6.91227&spn=0.001032,0.002411&t=m&z=19&layer=c&cbll=46.431923,6.912384&panoid=NnMyEfjUKHgCz9Ibk7OKsA&cbp=12,93.13,,0,1.9)

on Avenue des Alpes in Montreux. It usually has a English speaking crowd and they do screen english football etc

Regards,

Suleman

Hey Suleman, Thanks for your reply.  This was one of the places I checked last week.  The problem is that the matches are early morning, and normal bars aren't open.  Will be glad in 4 years when it returns to a civilized time zone.

Cheers,

Tony
