Reading at the moment "1000 years of annoying the French" super book, so funny [er.... if you're British that is, or even if you are not]. Really recommended.

I recommend "Catch 22", for I guess its one of those books where it doenst matter whether you start reading the last page, and go further to the beginning..

Thanks Sheila. I would definitely agree with that. There was another one he published as a follow up called 'Annoying the French Encore' which was also very good.

The second funniest book of all time but surely be the excellent 'Cougar in the Cover' by Rich Von Throbber also available on Kindle. Well worth buying!

The Psychopath Test by Jon Ronson
american on purpose by craig ferguson
Jeeves series by P.G Wodehouse
Haha yes. That book is a good read. It got a bit slow though.
I also recommend "The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared".
Don't let the title put you off. Its an updated take on Forrest Gump except the main character is not retarded, he is just psychotic.

Love this list! I've added all the books mentioned that i havent already got on my wishlist. Keep them coming!
For my recommendation: The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon - not a funny book but very well written.

So how are the royalties going Mr. Von Throbber?
You're TERRIBLE!!!
A little known book called "The Train to Hell" by Alexei Sayle.
Failing that, another good laugh( but for the wrong reasons) is " Mars and Venus on a Date" by the usual suspect. Best read whilst with a friend so you can read out the funniest bits aloud and share the laugh together.

Kill your friends by John Niven. Very, very dark though.

The discworld series from Terry Prattchet is massively funny and even more than this. But that's fantasy, you'll have to like the genre or get into it ;)
Stephen Clarke is great I'll advise to start with the Merde series too where it all started! But it may be only double the fun for French and Brits only...

I'd agree with Wilt from Tom Sharpe, so funny.
:)
I suppose for politicial incorrectness no one can beat Tom Sharpe's two books on South Africa (Indecent Exposure and Riotous Assembly) ... a personal tip for a more contemporary context is Absurdistan by Gary Shteyngart. :-)

The Joy Of Work by Scott Adams
You need to get about a 3rd of the way through before the humour sinks in (probably earlier for people more intelligent than me). It's worth persevering, trust me.
