what bought you to switzerland?

I managed to catch the end of the ski season went to Zinal that was pretty good.

Hey, Nestle brought me here (though like you the promise of skiing every weekend) really sealed the deal.

Im not too sad about missing the skiing here though as I spend most of the season in Whistler (which have over 15m of snow this year).

How have you found switzerland?

Well I can get down, not sure how good it looks. haha.

How about you, what level are you at?

I'm still trying to get used to the shops being shut so much here, but perhaps thats like Jersey. I used to go to Alderny a bit.

i am here for as long as want really

Geneva is a nice place to live, although you need to get used to it as you need to get used to any new city you're moving to. Especially if the previous city you were in was really big :)

It is getting to know people is harder as my french is not the best i can get by.

Thats why i am on here to meet english speaking people to go and have fun with.

I also almost dont speak French, that seems not easy from at the beginning when you need to deal with different service like renting a flat, getting furniture, etc.. but than you get used to it.

I came here for work really i guess and also i was bored in Jersey.

Oh yeah my French is improving but i basically turned up with no french at all.  I kind of just got offered a Architect job and had no time to practice my french prior to it just all kind of happened really fast.

But glad i made the move.  You gone to any of these glocal events yet?

P+G offered you free Chocolate to move to Switzerland?

Most of the glocals events are quite good, many are just people who want to hang out and say "hey come and join me".

I quite often go to some of the sports events etc.
