A out a month ago we landed here in Switzerland and planning to stay for many years around. We're looking for other couples who'd like to go out, visit nearby places (foundue anyone??), go hiking with the kids and well, enjoy all of this a bit no?
I just joined glocals, pretty cool site and look forward trying many of the things to do that you guys organize eh?

It would be nice to see a couple with a baby and do some activities together.
My husband is from Montreal, I'm from Japan, and we met in Montreal and moved to Geneva 6 years ago.
We have a baby boy of 2months and a week old now. How old is your baby?
Have you found any couples yet?

My wife is from Seattle, and I grew-up playing hockey so I have lots of Canadian friends. Enjoy Switzerland, Lausanne is a nice city. We live near Zurich, but travel that way a lot. Maybe we could meetup some time? Talk to you soon.

If you find the local expatriate parents groups, then you should meet other couples this way. In Lausanne there is:

The blog www.lausannemom.com can point you to other resources.
For groups/events in between Geneva & Lausanne I run a Parents & Kids club with both virtual support (e-gruops, blog) and face-to-face activities. Additional links to clubs, activities, etc. on our links page.

I would like to suggest that you visit this Event with you Kids, I cant think of anything more interesting than parents in Labyrinth, and there is train from Lausanne coming direct to Delémont.
