Hello! I´m moving to Geneva in two weeks!

In ten or 15 days I will be in Switzerland. I´m from the north of Spain...from a very very lovelyyy placeee but I want to advantage in my career and new challenge so, I decided to move. I met Ginebra and LAusanne last july, and i relly like them.

I´m looking for apartment, a rental room at first, if you know where can I get it or if you are looking the same....tell me, please... ;)

Later I will start to ask you about special places to visit, good pub to go out, good language schools, and interest activities for do it!! I love sport, music and to travel is my passion!

Welcome in advance to Geneva! Keep an eye on glocals classifieds section, that's where we found our apartment!

Hi Maddalen,

Nice meeting you. I am looking too and its not easy - I am coming mid Nov and if by any chance you will find some place where would be more rooms available for a short-term rent, pls keep me updated. Once being in Geneva, I will be looking for some proper accommodation, but need to start with sth:).

Ciao Francesca. Yeah, it's very difficult to find accomodation in Geneva for a reasonable price. In case you won't find in Geneva, it's worth trying in France, close to the border. Good luck and all the best!

Hi Francesca,

Some cities in France (Ferney Voltaire region or Gaillard/Anemasse for instance, or others) have good connections with Geneva. I would recommend you check the Geneva transportation website (www.tpg.ch) to see if you can manage it (some bus lines cross the border with France too).

YEs Francesca, seems impossible but it´s possiblee! and yes! eassier looking in france!

I found a room in Cessy (french village 20km from Geneva), good luck! and if you need something ask me...I´m arriving on 20 th of october.
