Hello Zurich!

Hi, I am new to this site, i was recommended to join as I am coming over from the UK to live in Zurich on the 8th October. I have a job with an American company based in Wil as their Senior Accountant. I am really excited about it!! but at the same time I have a lot to arrange and sort out to move there in about a months time. I have yet to find an apartment which I understand are very much in demand there! anyway just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Chloe, I will not know anybody in Zurich apart from my new colleagues (who seem lovely!) and I would really like to meet some people in Zurich after I arrive there to chat with and join in the activities!

Hi Chloe

..it sure can be a bit lonely first couple of month,but hey no worries give us a buzz:)or drop a line!

In ZH 11 years,run my own business,like2go drinks,dancing,movies when there is a time:)and for friends i always seem2have time!

Hey Chloe!

I'm in a very similar position to you - I'm from the UK and arrived in Zurich yesterday! I'm just starting to get to know the city and figure out where everything is. I spent all day viewing apartments today which believe you me is exceptionally hard work!! Anyway - keep in touch and maybe we can go for a coffee or something when you arrive?

Hi!!

I have also just arrived in Zurich on Saturday. I'm from Northern Ireland, but I have been living in Hong Kong for the last 3 years. I would love to meet people for coffee or cocktails sometime. I also agree that appartment searching is stressful!!

Hi Everyone!

Well i'm onto my second week here! about to start the apartment hunt lol... thats gonna be fun! looking at Winterthur and Zurich at the moment. First week at work was good, but i have only just managed to get internet access in my hotel. Would be great to meet up for a drink or something together!

Lets arrange to meet up. Perhaps you could suggest some dates when you are all free. I am not currently working so am pretty much free anytime except Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, as I have German lessons then.
