How is life for gay women in CH?

Hi there, new to this community and eager to learn about how life could lool like for a lady who prefers girls in Switzerland. I am coming from Paris where it might be a bit easier - I would like to know what are the best places to go to meet people in the same situation. Many tks for your replies and help!

Welcome to glocals.com and to Geneva!
I don't know too much about the gay scene and challenges in GVA, but I do know that in general, Geneva is very gay friendly.
I did forward your post to a few gay friends, and I hope they'll share some info with you either on this forum, or in an email.

Hey there, I don´t go out much in the gay scene here in Geneva so my knowledge is very limited. What I can suggest though, is that you have a look at www.360.ch. It´s the website for the gay community here in Geneva, they have a party agenda as well. I know that there is a big party next weekend, which is THE event to go to. http://www.360.ch/fever/
You should google the gay life in Lausanne, it´s supposed to be bigger and more happening.

hi there!
i haven't been there in a while, but you could check out a bar in the Pâquis called "le boudoir de la baronne", mostly gay men there however some gay women also go there and they might be able to give you more information - the gay men as well actually;)
and yes, the 360° is a goldmine of information!

Try around Manor, specifically La Bretelle, Le Phare, and the CD/record/DVD shop at Place Grenus... all cool places to hang out whatever your gender preference...:cool:
