Hi, I am moving to Geneva (from Italy) with pets. Can anyone help me with the details? What is the most cost savings and safest way to do this? Thanks!

Not specifically what you aked for but general legal info from the Confederation Suisse website whilst waiting for other replies .
You could also get answers to your questions writing to them using the link at the end of the article in Italian, French German or English.

Hi Kati,
I brought my dog once so in case you're still looking for this info have a look here: http://blv.bytix.com/plus/dbr/default.aspx?lang=en
And then you also need to check if the Cantonal vetinarary office has additional requirements -this varies from canton to canton.
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
KJ

Hi since your pet it's european, as far as I know all you need is its passport with the vaccines updated, then I recommend you to go to the vet and see if everything it's ok according to the Swiss standards. I recommned the Cabinet de Villereuse, I have a colombian cat and a french dog and so far we never had any problem.
Good luck :)
