I'm one of the guys helping run the site. Until now we havn't really kicked it off in Bern, so it's GREAT to see more Bern folks joining...(-;

glocals is all about the Member-Activities section, where any member can post any activity, and see who wants to join. You can kick off the Bern activities by posting something there. It can be anything - a movie, a night out, sports, anything.

What say - will you be the 1st one in Bern to post a Member-Activitiy? :)

I am trying to organise a get together this weekend in Bern for a drink and socialising but cant seem to add anything on the forum page and i dont know any bars in Bern as I live in Fribourg.
any advice?

 Hey Lawrence,

I think you could also post this activity in the "Things to do in Bern"! It's very easy a^nd great cause everybody can see it!

Here a couple of bars I would reecommend:

Mr. Pickwick (Irish pub, close to the train station)
Nelson pub (its a bit too loud there to talk though)
Markthalle (close to the train station)
Les Amis (not much room, but nice terace in the summer -shame its getting cold now)
Park Cafe (nice when the wether is good)

Oh by the way, I posted an activity in Bern to watch the movie "Taking Woodstock" this Sunday (CineBubenberg at 8:30pm, meet up at 8:15pm in front of the CineBubenberg)!

Anyone down to watch this movie?
