I'm kinda new to the area as well, and also looking for a place to work out - preferably in the Grand Saconnex area since I tend to be lazy getting to the gym :P
So if anyone finds out where to get a sound beating make sure to tell me!

Hey Andrina,
Do you understand how the rental works in Switzerland? that would be the first step. If you don't let me know and I can summarize it for you. I had the same problems last year. Kepp an eye on the Market place section of this site too, this is how I found my apartment.
Re boxing, I train every Friday evening at the Silhouette gym in Movenpick hotel. There is no trainer but a spare room and a bag ang mirrors and that's all I need. If you want to get a gym subscription this can be an option.
