New in Geneva!

Hi Everyone,

I just moved to Geneva on Friday and am looking to meet some fellow expats who can share their experiences with me.  I have a sublet until Nov. 1st but need to find a permanent place to live asap so any help there is appreciated as well.

I'm really excited to be here but want to meet new people with some similar interests (It's a tough transition coming from nyc!)

Hi welcome to Geneva!

Try this website:

http://www.npph.net/immo.html

It has links to the site mentioned above as well as immostreet, which I found useful.

It also has links to regies so you can have direct contract with them rather than a sublet which may sometimes be more than the actual cost...But then it all depends on the kind of rental you want - it's hard to get a direct rental with a regie these days regardless of salary but if you can get your employers to write a recommendation letter for you - if thats your chosen route.

Otherwise, good luck!
