welcome in Lausanne. I moved from Leipzig to Lausanne one month ago. ;-)

Jogging at the lake is soooo nice, however at the moment i'm try to find some other routes. With regards to beachvolleybal, i'm looking also for a possibility to play, at the moment i'm only aware of two courts in Lutry. Let me know if i can help you.

I do not trust Lausanne weather so no outdoors! we can either go to a cafe which serves al kinds of drinks ( i know one near montchoisi) and no music or we can go to a pub like happy days or king size which are heavy on loud music! wat do u suggest?

Also, I want to restrict it to the people who are 6 months (or less) young to Lausanne! 

maybe a place with not-so-conversation-killing music! :-)

Also, I'm actually not sure about any restrictions... wouldn't it be nice to have some people around who already know the town? Maybe?

Yea! Cafe-des-avenues! Lets meetup there! The idea behind restriction is to encourage those who are new to Lausanne! It is always nice to have people with wisdom but at the same time I dont want people with wisdom only! Let the new faces at Lausanne laugh together! :)

We can meet at cafe de avenues! On Saturday?  I will create  a page for the event so confiem if Saturday is ok for you.

To all the Lausanne newbies, check out Jaspers drinks held on the 1st Friday of every month (not yet advertised).  You'll get a complete mixture of people, young, old, new, not so new and Jasper specifically makes newbies feel welcome.  Ditto Ludo's drinks, held once a month on random days.  Both are great for circulating.

In addition, if you decide you DO want "wisdom only" then Epicure holds a Saturday Brunch - most weeks at Cafe des Avenue so you'll probably see him there.

Martand - the weather in Swizterland is not to be trusted, anywhere, at the moment - in general you'll get MUCH better weather down this end of the lake than in Geneva.

(Also check out my own activities - I encourage everyone and restrict no-one - but they do tend to be of the sporty variety!)

Welcome to Switzerland, I am 29, work in media rights management and I am also new to Geneva and perhaps going to Lausanne one of these days to meet the city, perhaps we could meet for a coffee? Otherwise, if you want to come to Geneva, I could take you around the Quartier des Bains, where there are a lot of art galleries and cool design shops, sounds like a plan?
