I'm new on glocals so I would like to introduce myself. I moved to Lausanne from France few months ago and I'm looking to get to know people around here, for running and hiking but not only. I'm Polish and working as postdoc on EPFL.

Welcome to Switzerland Katarzyna. What's Lausanne like? I saw it through the train window today on my way back from Geneva to zurich.

Hi Jim! Lausanne is ...hilly - if I need to say it shorly. And sitting beautifully above the lake - I'm blessed with a lake view both from home and from work. And great spot for outdoor activities - snowboard, hiking etc. And amazing mixture of all nations apllies I guess to whole Swizterland (at least to big cities).
