Not so new to Geneva but looking for hiking/ski touring buddies

Hello GLocals!

I have been living in Geneva for 3 years now, and I am looking for buddies to go hiking/climbing/ski touring.

I like pretty much all sports related to mountains (rock climbing, skiing, paragliding, cannyoning, etc.)

I am also keen on any activity that can help me stay fit and you will often find me running around bout du monde/swimming at bain des paquis.

There are plenty of clubs for hiking, climbing and ski touring Check out Club Alpin Suisse, Carouge and Geneva sections. Ami Montagnards (who tend to be really fit). Oxygene 74 has lonmg hikes with 1600 m plus height gain.

The club you join depnds whether you want to explore the mountains or just keep fit.

You should post ypour question on the Geneva Mountain hiking group and that way you reach 1000 members.

Hi,

I would be interested in climbing. I have climbed 5 years straight but stopped for the past 2 years due to work / uni. Looking to get back. I prefer rock climbing spring / summer - don't do ice climbing.

if you want to gather for a trip in La clusaz on the 14 of January for a ski touring, we could meet there and try one tour around.
