Hello, where are they? I live with my boyfriend near Basel.

My English is basic for that reason I can not communicate with English-speaking people.

I like to have friends to go to a coffee and talk or go shopping.

¿So difficult is to make friends?

Just wondering: have you visited a shop in Basel called "La Espanola", near the Spanish Consulate? They may be able to help you find activities involving Spanish people.

If you go there, don't forget to bring a bottle of Portuguese wine with you. ;)
