True... although I am pretty keen to learn how to ski (so perhaps a little winter won't be such a bad thing)

Nothing compares to a clear sunny day when skiing and looking down at the clouds in the valley, likely raining on the non-skiers.

So I guess for the FIRST TIME in the 1 month ive been here the weather people decided to give us A SUNNY WEEKEND!!! 

Well, mostly you'll find that'll be the French because of prevailing westerly winds, otherwise you could always blame the Germans or Italians. I'd say that we could look at the French for the cold front about to hit tonight though.

As a serious beer drinker I have never been too much worried about the weather.  Find a pub with no terrasse where the sun can impede the speed with which you down those pints and in those murky depths you will find a contented english guy who at his age should know better
