Hmmm, replacing Toronto by Collonges sous Salève is quite a change

If you want to meet people living also along this side of the border, you can join the St. Julien drinks this Friday. And I agree with Zonker, glocals is a great thing - maybe the best way to meet nice people.

I just saw your posts. I'm living near Archamps in France and looking to meet a few more people from around this side of Geneva. Are there more St Julien drinks anytime soon?!

I've been here since last August and came over from the UK-  I work at an international school in Geneva. I love the outdoors, exploring the area, hiking/skiing, sailing etc.

Kumo K - I'm afraid I don't have any tips for you apart from perserverance! Which sites are you using to look for an apartment? We were very lucky and found an apartment in a family home just outside Archamps. It's a lovely area- you'll enjoy living here!
