Can't Post in the Forums?

Hi guys

Quite a few people have complained that when they try to post on the forums, they keep getting asked to login again an again.

We are working on fixing the prob, but for now, here is a solution that seems to work:

1. Go to the site homepage
2. Click on Edit Profile
3. In the Edit Profile page, change your password
4. Save the changes, and logout of glocals
5. Close the browser window
6. Open a new window
7. Login to glocals
8. Try to post in the forums

SO, if you are not able to post, please try the above steps and let me know if it works.

Hi Oded

We have the same problem, but it only takes a few minutes so we do not mind logging in again. However, we seem to have major difficulties posting photos. We repeatedly get the advice "pictures are too large", despite that we have reduced the size, sometimes twice, the system still will not accept. We always now ask people to request photos for items we wish to sell, but it would be a help to know how to do it properly and whether it is only us! TIA. Good weekend

This thread is 3 years old and as far as I know the problem was solved long ago.

What happens when you try to post on the forums?

Do you get an error message? Something else?

I am being incredibly dense - I think. I wanted to start a forum (never done it before) so went on to forum home page, stared, thought, stared again, tried to be creative but no.

Errr what is the first step?

But for instance Marion C started a new forum today about walking at lunchttime. How come she can and I cannot? Or did she send you a message asking for one to be created? I can reply to her forum as I reply to many. Maybe I am using the wrong terminology. I want to start a discussion and do not seem to be able to do so.

Oded'd post 7 is in correct. I did not realise you had to click on a forum e.g 'Geneva' or 'New Members' and then 'the start new thread button' appears and it works
