Hey guys!

Come along to the Geneva Peace Talks on the 18th of September, to be held at the Palais des Nations (Room XIX) from 16:30-18:30. This year’s theme is ‘It’s Time for Peace’!

As a response to constant headlines about war and conflict our speakers will be discussing why peace is needed and why conflict must end now!
Our speakers are coming from violent and divided environments and have diverse backgrounds such as science, art, business, and more. They will share their personal stories of peace and how they are making a difference in peacebuilding efforts.

Guest speakers will include Helena Puig Larrauri the co-founder of Build-Up for Peace, Sean Althuler and Tyler Wolf who are the founders of Time-Peace, and the founder of Homeboy Industries and author of the New York Times Bestseller “Tattoos on the Heart: The Power of Boundless Compassion” Father Greg Boyle. The Geneva Peace Talks are a public event organized on the occasion of the International Day of Peace, celebrated on the 21st of September, in partnership between the United Nations Office at Geneva, Interpeace and the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform.
