A great evening! The hall was packed and we had traditional Scottish dances called, (Gay Gordon, Strip the Willow, to name but 2) plus a pipe band (with no Scottish players?). Some talented dancers (we see them also at the Folkloric Dances in Crissier) took to the floor to accompany Scottish and Irish music. Where do they learn such fancy and elegant footwork? Brilliant display of tap dancing to an Irish fiddle number. Outstanding, friendly (everyone can join in, and its not a cattle market), fun...and in Froideville, incroyable! With whisky tasting, and a range of interesting snacks and drinks to purchase.
Thanks for organising, Carly!
