Hello,
well, how to say...for those who like autumnal rides, this was the perfect day.
Forecasts announced around 12 °C, possible light showers but still some ray of sun...we had it all...
It was still a very nice day. Carmen joined me and two friends at Bains des Paquis at 9am. Avi_ also came just to say hi. We had a coffee and decided to head toward the Jura despite the threatening clouds.
Went up the Col de la Faucille, then headed toward La Cure, down to St-Cergues and up to the Col du Marchairuz where we stopped for a drink.
We then headed back down to Bières, Bussy-Chardonney, Aubonne on the Route du Vignoble and stopped in Luins for lunch.
There, at the Auberge de Luins (http://www.aubergedeluins.ch/), we enjoyed the famous Malakoffs (yummy fried cheese ball).
Well stuffed, we headed back toward Geneva, dropping Carmen on the way.
A nice day, although a bit cold especially up on the Jura, with nice sceneries, road and food.
Thanks to Carmen and my buddies for joining and hope to see loads of you on the next rides.
Cheers,
Pikachu
