I had a lot fun yesterday and met GREAT people, as usual. Thanks so much for much for organizing it.

This said, I'm sure that that you will forgive me for playing the devil's advocate again. I have a big reservation about the place. New Member Drinks is not an event like the others, it serves as a visit card for Glocals. And by organizing it in a five stars hotel, you give the new members a message, something like «Glocals is a community of people who see no problem in paying their (mediocre) small draft beer 10 francs».

I don't think that it adequately reflects the spirit of Glocals and the diversity of its members. Some of them have good salaries,  some of them are students, people looking for a job or just launching a start-up (Hi Edward !). All should feel equally welcomed and I think it would be more easily guaranteed in a less pricy place.
