Thank you for the very well organized and fun salsa weekend. I really enjoyed it. I think that Esteban is a great teacher. Three hours is actually quite a long time to keep people occupied, but it passed very quickly and Esteban's natural and good humoured approach was very much part of that! He has a lot of energy! I also found his method of instruction easy to follow. I felt that the time period (3 hours) each day was absolutely right. It wasn't too much. And I felt happily exhausted at the end of the day.

So, that's my feedback. thanks again for another fun event.

Hi Nir,

Thanks so much for your organizing - a really fantastic event! Even a starter like me progressed enough to pretending like dancing salsa by the end Most important I now really want to continue and it made me quiet enthusiastic about it! 

- Overall the 3h+3h format is really ideal for me as it allows progressing really fast. Also, the logistics were perfect thanks a lot to you: clear emails before/after on logistics, nice water distributed, good split of people with half of each gender, nice location fitting the weather.

- In terms of teacher, Esteban is really excellent with plenty of jokes (not everyone laughed all the time but guess I liked a lot his irony),  and he succeeded - I think - in making people relaxed & having fun - this is obviously critical and enabled a great week end!

- As a side comment, I find we did not socialize as much as we could have with very few going for drinks/dinner/more dancing. It would be great if we could organize some salsa evenings in conjunction to the event such as going out the Saturday evening for dinner for those interested (announce in advance in your email?) as well as dancing afterwards maybe the next Tuesday? :-) Realize may be quiet a logisitcal nightmare but maybe you could just ask who is interested so that people are aware they could organize it.

Overall, amazing event, really good fun, great salsa, great class...Please let me know if planning any post-beginner class and huge thanks again for  organizing!

  The salsa weekend was a lot of fun. Esteban is a great teacher, and his jokes make the class very enjoyable.

One thing I would love to see is an "Intermediate" or "Beginner 2" salsa weekend. I know Esteban gives classes for these levels during the week, but I really like the salsa weekend format.

I recommend joining the "Geneva Latin dance and music group" on glocals where Bizhan keeps us all updated with all the latest happenings on the Salsa scene in Geneva.  I recently started learning salsa as well and found this group of people to be really encouraging.  Salsa away ...

I really did appreciate those two days. As a strict non dancer (can't & won't) I am finding a new way to ciommunicate. Very impressive, at least to myself.

Had so much fun and learned a lot! I loved the people, Esteban's humour and patience with us and awesome salsa weekend! Thank you Esteban, Nir and Esteban's partner for arranging such a weekend for us! Wouldn't change a bit of it. Also thank you salsa fellows and my partner (good leader, I recommend)! ;)

Thanks to Nir, Esteban and Valerie! The salsa weekend was a fantastic experience, as was meeting so many interesting people living in Geneva.

If you’re reluctant to learn to salsa, this is a tremendous format. Surrounded by other beginners, Esteban is relaxed and patient, while Nir provides great support and encouragement. The weekend class gives you enough practice and confidence to consider hitting the dance floor.

If you’re new to glocals, Geneva or salsa, this class is a great experience. Thanks to everyone for their patience and good humour!

Thanks for organising the salsa.I loved the weekend format - which meant it was possible to learn alot in a short time. Estabans teaching was well paced and interesting and the time passed very quickly.

I would be interested in a further weekend at intermediate level and would be keen to participate in further Salsa evenings.
