it was FUN FUN FUN! I would do it again in a heartbeat.  It was a great chance to dance and meet new people.  Esteban was great.  Thank Nir for organizing this.

Hi Nir,

I didn't understand why there were 4 guys who were totally beginners, whereas the event was clearly advertised as Beginners-plus/Intermediate.  That created a loss of time the first day rehearsing too much the basics and created the issue of having 4 men more than women (bad feeling for people who came with their female dance partner and found themselves waiting for a woman as Esteban was trying to fix the issue by doing circle changes).

Now, you worked your ass off to fix this, as usual, and man, you're GREAT!  So the second day was PERFECT!  So except for the first day that was a bit of a miss, the total event was really worth it again.

Nir worked very hard to get the numbers equal between the genders and make sure it was a fun event for everyone.

My only advice would be perhaps to clearly define a beginers and intermediate level class advertised as 'for people who have done beginners at least once or have previously danced' (though I think this was mentioned in the ad, maybe the 'beginners plus' title confused people into thinking it was still at the basics level). I think this will make it rewarding for the beginner dancers (who will not feel frustruted doing more advanced content while strugling with the basics), and more interesting to dancers who already did the beginners course. The disadvantage with this, however, is that it can make it harder to balance numbers.

But I digress. To close, I thought this was a fun event, a great opportunity to learn something new and meet new interesrting people.

I highly recommend this course if it is offered again.

The salsa weekend was amazing for me. I definitely want to continue in classes after this! Thank you Nir, for arranging this. Esteban - for an amazingly fun and well-taught class! and to the women up front demonstrating with Esteban...Bravo! You ladies were gorgeous dancers and classy examples for us ladies to live up to (someday, I hope, with practice:)!

I was happy all weekend, and think I found my new hobby :) Looking forward to some spontaneous outtings at the clubs.

As my first glocals event, it was great! I really enjoyed it. One small thing maybe would be to think about a way to introduce people before we start or along the way.

The whole weekend went well, the class was well taught and there was a great dynamic!

We have really enjoyed those afternoons.The organisation was great. Esteban very "salsaying" and funny to help each of us to relax, so we did not feel the effort and the pain!
