I think the best way to travel in switzerland is by train as its convenient and there is a train almost every hour. if you are living in lausanne, you can visit Geneva for a start: the old town, boat trip on the lake, cern, UN and other international organizations. Geneva is also a center for shopping so you will have plenty of fun here.

 The only issue is with the weather forecast: if it doesn't improve, it's not guaranteed that balloons will fly

Thank you so much for your suggestion! In fact I've travveled a lot here. But this weekend I really want to go somewhere But now we have like 6 peolpe wiiling to go to a festival this weekend.
