Getting to Chamonix

Hello fellow mountain friends!

What's the most efficient way of getting to Chamonix from if you don't have a car? I'm hoping for least amount of travel time and least amount of transfer requirements...

Thanks for the help!

Or you can get the SAT bus, not sure where they leave from in Geneva but they drop you off at the train station here in Cham. They're much cheaper, always on time, and take about an hour too.

The Chamexpress looks to be a good deal esp as it seems to run every 45 mins.  Will post details this pm of the buses which go from the gare routiere near the railway station/English church.  Advantage is that they sometimes do ski pass deals and of course leave at suitable piste skiing times.

There are also buses that leave from Annemasse bus station (sometimes it is the same bus that departs Geneva) and the fares are nmuch lower but yiou have to get yourself to Annemasse gare routiere
