Do you want ot go somewhere closeby or spend lots of time in an airplane? Mountain or sea? Glamour hotel or camping? Culture or beachbabe? Sports or relax? Alone or meeting people? City or nature? Go to one place and stay there, or travel around different places? Touristy of off the beaten path?

I'm going on holidays alone,some sun and see, as also water sports are welcome to "recharger batteries" :) Hope to relax, meet nice people, discover new country...well, fist time going alone, so I'm not sure how to organise it.

If you wish to minimize transport expenses, and make a Geneva2Genova holiday, you may reach our Liguria region with less than 50 CHF, provided you book the train trip with 2 weeks' advance.

In that case, Geneva-Milano costs 19 euros, while Milano-Genova costs around 10 euros. Liguria is not totally inexpensive, but with the CHF going so strong it shouldn't be that bad either. And you'll be able to find all the things you mentioned above. You may well call it the Sopot of Italy ;)

Histria is the north part of Croatia. See is really cool. Personally I like Pula and Rovinj.  If you prefer to fly to Croatia if I am not mistaken there is a connection between Geneva and Dubrovnik another nice area.

Anyhow whenever you're going holiday is holiday (last but not least I am quite used to go alone and I am actually having fun and relax)
