Good suggestion from Fabio but you could of course always try Trip Advisor.
The centre of London is extremely expensive, but you can always stay a little outside and then travel in on a daily, or weekly travel card.
If you need more help just send a PM

Or you can also try
LateRooms http://www.laterooms.com/en/special-offers.mvc
Trivago http://www.trivago.co.uk/
Plus for good theatre and restaurant deals try www.lastminute.com
Top London travel tip - get a pay as you go 'Oyster card' - the cheapest way to pay for single journeys on buses, trams, DLR and of course the wonderful Tube. http://visitorshop.tfl.gov.uk/

PS If you are going to use the buses, tube and trains a lot during your stay get a daily travel card or if you are staying longer get a 7 day or even a monthly travel card as that method will offer you the best deal on all transport in zones 1-6
Try and find time to 'fly' the new Emirates Airline from Greenwich North to Royal Docks. There are some great views on a clear day http://www.tfl.gov.uk/modalpages/23863.aspx
and if you want to see London from one of it's tallest and newest iconic buildings then book a ticket to catch the view from The Shard in SE1 The London Bridge Quarter

London is known as the most costly city in Europe. If you are planning to travel here, you might fill your pocket with large amount of money that’s because everything you purchase here will cost you more than any other part of Europe. However, you are asking about accommodation then definitely you should choose rental accommodation instead of hotels because you can get same services like hotels in rental apartments and that too in appropriate price. If you don’t want to search long for good rental accommodation then you can visit Plazaestates which has an extensive range of rental apartments in nearly every region of London.

Hi
I am from London and find Switzerland loads more expensive! Even the bus fare is more here! So please don't be put off – things like coffees, drinks, admission to tourist sites and taxis are all a whole lot cheaper.
You don't say what budget you have, but places I might try are the Hoxton hotel (which can be very expensive but you can get very good deals if you book in advance), or 40 Winks in Stepney (not the nicest area but amazing place and cheap to eat/drink nearby), or Avo in Dalston as Dalston is a really fun place to go out and has great tube links with the new London Overground Line. Or try 9flats, as well as airB&B. If you need cheap tips, just let me know. Happy to steer you in the right direction!
