I am looking take a short trip to the mountains this weekend and I'd love some advise. I've been to few French mountains and I'd like to explore Switzerland a bit.There are so many to choices (web searching) from and I am not able to choose on my own.
I have a car, not a big hiker, have a little dog, love the lakes to swim in, local food and sights etc...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

p.s. Not "stuck" on mountains only. I am very open to some city adventures as well.
