I would be careful travelling on your own in Oz. There have been some very nasty incidents a few years ago. We lived in Perth and that was fine but I'm talking about the city. If you need more info about this area, please le me know.

Personally I would not travel alone in Australia. There have been some very nasty incidents happening to backpackers over the years. But of course it is up to you.

@ Sheila: I don't think that the risk to travel alone in Australia is low, I mean lower than other countries... Of course you have to be carefull like everywhere, watching your hand bag, maybe bot being alone in some places or districts at night, this is common. I think you had a bad esperience in Australia no? That's why it's emphasising your point of view.

@ Trang: Thanks for the proposition, yes i gonna travel alone and meet people probably, you can join me, I will visit the East Coast in October but I don't know yet in when and in which city I will be exactly as it gonna be settle and more precised once I will be there and according to people that I gonna meet maybe.

@ Charlie: Thanks for your support and advice, it's my dream from many years to discover Australia!!! I just don't know how it gonna be travelling alone in an unknown country, let's see... Great experience I guess! From which city are you from? Do you go back often?I will departure from Adelaide for visit Victoria, New South Wales and then going up on the East Cost and its beautiful islands for coming back through Cairns... One month is so short... :( Better than nothing anyway... :)
