Friend of mine wants to go to Swiss mountains for 10 days in two weeks. Where would you suggest to go?

Really beautiful, lots of walking, great nightlife and restaurants and very typically swiss mountains with no cars allowed in the village. Plus it has snow on the glacier so you can either look at it, or try skiing on it!
Alternatively you could try wengen but with so much time you might get bored as it is quite small...

I love Val d'Anniviers, in Valais, above Sierre. It is a mountain valley with several resorts (Saint-Luc, Vercorin, Chandolin...), breathtaking views, a nice glacier with a small jewel blue lake (lac de Moiry), an old village (Grimentz), another village located on a the top of a ridge with steep slopes on both sides (I don't remember its name)...
