Where to enjoy Birthday party?

Hello everyone!


Need your advice - Where to enjoy Birthday party?


I just arrived in Lausanne and in few weeks will have my 1st Swiss birthday challenge to celebrate here :) Why challenge - cause I'm living in a very quiet place Pully.... Couple of my friends going to come here from abroad and I'm thinking about the idea to travel around Swiss, better south of France, Italy... or even maybe Corsica.. Will have 4 days off to make it happen :-)


So, the main question - any tips to recommend the best route? Would love to visit amazing, unforgetable places during the day, and exciting places in the evening (where is really funny to dance or enjoy any concert!!).


Car, train, plain - what is better? Any tips about accomodation (looking for nice, unique and unforgetable) :-) Too many wishes, right? Well, it's birthday..


I would really appreciate to get your feed-back!!

Go to Cote d'Azur: Nice, Canne, Monaco, etc...

You can visit Switzerland during the day which is a very amazing country for vues in the moutains and lakes and go on parties on some main cities except Geneva which really sucks if you want to go out.. Smile


Otherwise if parties are your main interrest go to Brussels Belgium and you will not regret... And you can also go in Amsterdam which is not so far from Brussels.


Those cities are far far away from swiss night life... Wink


A other good compromise is north of Italy around Venezzia, you have a lot of stuffs to visit, a lot of parties and in 3hours boat you can go for a day in Croatia which is also a good place to visit and make party.


If you need more details we can speak about and I will share my travel experiences with pleasure...

Well it depends of your mentality of course but south of France is so superficial and especially in summer...

I diagree with the above and think Sth of France is ok, and a beach party during the day and club party at night is fun. As a Birthday should be.


St Trop,Cannes,  Antibes, Monaco, all between 4 and 6 hrs drive.


Otherwise fly to ibiza, stay in the Nth of the Island (v pretty and quiet to relax)  and party in the sth.


Or Portofino in Italy, OR Barcelona, great for nightlife, food, culture and its on the sea.

Dear Elena,


I would go to Toscany, not too far away, many places to visit, good food, long sandy beaches and lots of trendy bars and nightclubs.

Thanks for your advice! I really want to go to Sth of France, the only things which is worries me that it might be a lot of tourists over there and high prices on accomodation...  If you can give me some tips, where to stay with good value costs, I would be happy!!

Dear Elena,


Everywhere in Toscany is top high season now, therefore I would go by car and find a place once there. 


It really depends on what you want to do and maybe you do not want to stay the 4 days at the same place neither.
