Your favourite Swiss BnB

I am looking for a BnB in the Swiss countryside for a long weekend stay in August! Have tried most on Tripadvisor etc. so looking for something new. Indifferent to location as long as near nature.

What is your favourite, seen / heard of anything new?

Cheers!

Pretty vague requirements!

I am a big fan of interlaken.  Its close to nature yet in a big enough town to have good food and an entertaining evening.  Some lovely bike rides and treks in and around the area.

For a specific place.  I really enjoyed staying at the below hotel.  Its half way up mount Rigi.  Getting there involves going to Luzern which in itself is beautiful, you then take a boat to the foot of the mountain.  I guess if brave enough you could walk up, altho most take the cog railway.  So the journey alone is spectacular

This is a beautiful area.  It looks down on lake luzern and I think it is lake Zug.  The hotel actually faces out over lake luzern.  Lots of treks and as you requested right in the nature.

Thanks guys.

To be more specific, looking for something along of lines of this (pics are the best description): http://www.thehayloft.ch/insidethehouse.htm ; http://www.thehayloft.ch/Summer.htm (which is full over the dates I want).

Swiss-traditional would probably be the best way to describe it. Any other suggestions most welcome!

If you are only interested in BnB accommodation, check out the Swoss BnB website – but the offer is very limited compared with, say, the UK because in CH most people rent rather than own their homes.  There are also more BnBs in the Gernan-speaking cantons than in western Switzerland.

Best, R.
