one seat available - Driving to England

Hi

I am driving to England from Switzerland around 13 or 14 of July (flexible)

and I can take one person with me - it would be a good support for me too

I have a VIP ticket for the Euro Tunnel Train (boarding priorities and lounge...etc)

Do you require any recompense? If so, how much please?

Hi Sheila.

Here is the cost-breakdown for ONE Direction:

100 £ Ticket (one way) - 150 £ Petrol - 50 £ Toll - 24 Road Tax

...and I will be doing all the driving (unless you are very keen to share the drive a bit !)

So I would say I would be happy if you contributed 150 £

but that is just for you to get an idea (you can pay less if you cant afford) - for me the "company" counts :)

Thank you for the offer, but I can fly with EasyJet for very much less. Sorry.

If you drive via Colmar and Luxembourg and just south of Brussels to Calais you can avoid all the French toll roads and also fill up with the cheapest Diesel in Luxembourg on-route (assuming Diesel car of course).  That route is only about 35 miles longer than taking all the French toll roads.
