panzermuseum Thun

Hi, has anybody visited the tank museum in Thun recently? It does not have an official web site and there is not so much information about it. It is in fact a part of a military base so on some sites I read that you can go there, on others - that only prearranged group visits are possible.

The text you are quoting:

Both informations are correct.

The tanks outside can be visited freely. Enter at the guard at Dufourkaserne. Monday to Friday, from 0800 - 1800. Not on weekends or public holidays. Call ++41 33 228 34 60 in in doubt.

The rest is in two parts,

Burgdorf and Thun can be only visited with a group of six people. If you don't find five more, you can ask to join an other group. Tours take about 3 hours and must be arragend at least two weeks in advance. Tours can be specialised to your wishes.
